What is Paymi?
Paymi is a rewards program that focuses on putting cash back in consumers pockets when they make purchases, in-store and online, with Paymi partner brands. Getting paid has never been easier.
Who Can Join Paymi?
Anyone can join Paymi!
To receive cash back, simply link your credit and debit cards through online banking so Paymi knows when to reward you. Your cash back will be delivered to your Paymi account when you spend with your linked cards at brands offered on the platform!
How do I join Paymi?
You can join Paymi by visiting https://app.paymi.com and begin the registration process. The first step is to link your credit and/or debit cards through online banking. This will enable Paymi to give you money automatically when you shop with your linked credit and debit cards.

Does Paymi cost money to join?
No! Paymi is free to join and happy to welcome more members to the community!
Can I receive money for referring someone?
Yes! Sharing is caring. You will receive $5.00 for every friend you refer to Paymi as soon as they make their first eligible purchase.
Connect Your Cards To Paymi
I have a joint bank account, will I receive money on each of the cards attached to my account?
Yes! When you connect your cards through online banking you are connecting all of the cards associated with that account, including any sister cards.
How do I connect my credit and debit cards to Paymi?
During the registration process you will be asked to login to your online banking portal using the same card number and password you would with your bank.
When you connect your cards through online banking Paymi will automatically add cash back to all of the credit and debit cards attached to your account!

Why do I need to connect my credit and debit cards to Paymi?
You do this so Paymi knows when to reward you. Connecting your credit and debit cards through online banking allows Paymi to confirm when you make a purchase with a partner brand so you can receive cash back automatically!
How do I add cash back to both of my credit and debit cards?
When you connect your cards through online banking you are connecting all of the cards associated with that account.
Are you a CIBC Client? All of your eligible CIBC credit and debit cards will automatically be connected to your Paymi account when you register.
Can I connect my cards from multiple financial institutions?
Absolutely! You are able to connect as many credit and debit cards to Paymi as you would like.
Simply go to the Financial Accounts section of My Account and click Link New Account to add any new card.
Are you a CIBC Client? All of your eligible CIBC credit and debit cards will automatically be connected to your Paymi account.
What do I do if I do not remember my online banking username and password?
In this case please contact your financial institution, they will be happy to help you reset your account credentials.

Getting Paid With Paymi
How long does it take to see the cash back rewards in my Paymi account?
For the Earn Anywhere Offers, it usually takes 1 to 2 business days for the cash back rewards to show in your account. Some might take up to 5 to 7 business days.
For the Earn Online Offers, your cash back will show in your account the return window is closed, ,meaning it can take up to 90 days. Please click on the ''i'' button on each offer for terms and conditions.
How can I receive more money?
Great question! The more cards you connect to Paymi and the more you shop with our partners the more cash back you will collect!
How do I deposit my cash balance from Paymi? Is there a fee?
Simply go to your Cash Back history and click the Redeem Now button next to your balance. Once you have a balance over $2.00 you’ll be able to send an Interac money transfer to yourself with your cash back.
There is a $1.50 Interac fee if your money transfer is under $25. Paymi will cover the Interac fee for transfers over $25!
Will I still receive the cash back that my credit and debit cards provide me?
Yes! You will receive your money from Paymi on top of any cash back you receive through the same credit and debit cards.
Will I still receive a store loyalty points?
Yes! You will receive your cash back from Paymi on top of any loyalty points you are collecting from our partner brands.
What happens if I return something that gave me cash back?
Paymi will automatically remove the amount of cash back you originally received on the purchase you returned. If you only return a portion of your total purchase you will still receive cash back on the rest of the purchase you have not returned.

How can I deactivate my Paymi account?
You may deactivate your Paymi account by clicking on My Account and selecting Settings, then choosing the Deactivate section of the page.
How can I unsubscribe from Paymi emails?
You may unsubscribe from Paymi emails by clicking on Settings under My Account, then select the Notification section of the page. Here you will be able to unsubscribe from receiving emails from Paymi.
You can always re-subscribe to Paymi’s emails on this page by simply clicking the box.
You can also click the unsubscribe button at the bottom of any Paymi email you receive.
Can I access my Paymi account through the website, as well as the app?
Yes! You are welcome to view your account by logging in at https://app.paymi.com.
Does Paymi have an app?
Yes! Paymi does have an app, you can find it in the App Store and Play Store under Paymi.
How can I change my password?
You may update your password by clicking on My Account and selecting Settings. In the Password section of the page you will be able to create your new password. You will also be asked to re-enter your current password in order to create a new one.
How can I update my email?
You may update your email address by clicking on My Account and selecting Settings, then choosing the Email section of the page. Here you will be able to enter your new email address and current Paymi password to begin using your new email.
Security & Privacy With Paymi
Can Paymi take money out of my bank account?
No. Paymi never receives your online banking login credentials and is not able to deposit or withdraw money from your bank account, this is why you receive your money from Paymi through Interac money transfer.

What information does Paymi see from my linked account?
Paymi receives read-only transaction-level data so that our system is able to recognize when you have made an eligible purchase so we can deliver your cash back.
Why does Paymi ask me to enter my online banking username and password?
When you connect your credit and debit cards through online banking it allows Paymi to give you your cash back, automatically!
Paymi never receives your online banking login credentials and is not able to deposit or withdraw money from your bank account, this is why you receive your money through Interac e-Transfer.
What personal information does Paymi ask me for during registration?
To personalize your Paymi experience we ask that you confirm your name, gender, date of birth and email address.
